My career is two-fold; Sales and Executive Search & Selection. For the first twelve years, I worked as a Corporate Account Manager and Sales Manager for solid commercial organizations such as Ricoh (NashuaTec) and Xerox.
In 1996-1997, I worked as a Sales Manager for a local but internationally oriented Recruitment & Training office in Dubai, and it was there that I discovered the exciting world of Search and Selection.
Since 2001, I have been working in the Consulting Business. For the first 7 years at YER Young Executive Recruitment as a Consultant and Managing Consultant. Then I joined a major International Headhunter as a Partner specializing in Technology. At the end of 2008, with all the passion I have in me, I decided to set up my own office, Van de Wouw / partners. We are the welcome alternative to the established order. We are fast, pragmatic, results-oriented, and passionate about what we do.
I have a 10 years background in Direct Sales, Consultative Selling and Sales Management in a technology environment. After that also a 10 years + experience in Recruitment & Executive Search with main focus on Sales Positions. For my clients I carry out single or multiple assignments on different levels, from Corporate Account Management to Commercial Management. I am passionate about finding the right candidate for the job in a commercial environment.
In my salesjobs I have learned to perform under pressure, prioritise, and consistently realise quarterly and annual targets, which as a result have now become natural concepts to me. With this knowledge I am able to quickly and accurately identify candidates, and to interest and advise them.
My specialty is a thorough in-dept knowledge and understanding of sales and commercial environments. I excel under pressure and I am a solid negotiator and motivator.
I perform my assignments always with a genuine interest in the person and an above average drive to succeed for both candidate and client.
